The contractor provides covered referral and specialized testing including reference laboratory, esoteric, oncology, and molecular diagnostic testing for VISN 2 South facilities, including specimen containers and preservatives, daily pickup and emergency STAT transport, pre-analytic processing, analysis, 24-hour routine reporting with immediate critical notification, 24/7 customer-service and IT support, VistA-compatible bi-directional interface and secure web portal, specimen retention, monthly turnaround, workload, cancellation and test-code reports, and monthly per-facility invoicing on a five-year firm-fixed-price requirements basis.
