This requirement 15B50227Q00000011 for Potable Water Sampling services has been deemed as an excepted activity in the DOJ / BOP contingency based on the urgency and critical nature of this requirement, this procurement is deemed legally authorized and operationally necessary under the exceptions to the Anti-Deficiency Act (31 USC 1341(a)(1)(B)). The contractor will perform coliform monitoring (7 samples per month), daily disinfectant residual testing at 13 sites (twice daily Mon-Fri, once daily Sat-Sun), lead and copper testing every 3 years, weekly mono-chloramine and free ammonia sampling (one from system, one from entry point), quarterly nitrate and nitrite sampling (12 samples per quarter from system and entry point), quarterly chlorine and mono/free NH3 analyzer calibration tests, and monthly dead end flushing. Testing locations are established by TCEQ. The contractor must submit test/inspection reports, repair proposals, and invoices within 15 calendar days of test completion.
