52.236-27 SITE VISIT (CONSTRUCTION) Alternate I (FEB 1995)
(a) The clauses at 52.236-2, Differing Site Conditions, and 52.236-3, Site Investigations and Conditions Affecting the Work, will be included in any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation. Accordingly, offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed.
(b) An organized site visit has been scheduled for-

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, and materials to perform complete renovations of three distinct bathrooms at Station Noyo River in the Male Berthing, Female Berthing, and Command / Officer of the Day (OOD) room. Work includes demolition of existing wall coverings, flooring, plumbing fixtures, vanity, partitions, stalls, mirrors, lighting fixtures, and exhaust fans; furnishing and installing new wet-rated LED fixtures, showers with commercial fixtures, tile flooring, ceramic tile (wet areas) and paint, rot-proof trim and baseboards, vanities and sinks, floor-mounted toilets and urinals, mechanical ventilation systems, stalls/partitions, and accessories such as mirrors, TP holders, garbage cans, and paper towel holders. The contractor must also handle demolition and hazardous material safely, including lead-containing ceramic wall tile, and perform final cleanup and waste characterization.
