The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), has a requirement for Systematic Information Review and Literature Validation Support Services. NIOSH seeks a commercially available, end-to-end automated service — which may incorporate artificial intelligence with human-in-the-loop features — to support systematic literature review lifecycles and generate traceable, reproducible pools of scientific literature underpinning occupational safety and health (OSH) risk management strategies. This acquisition is for the application, configuration, validation, and refinement of an existing commercial service; it is not for the development of a standalone platform, software product, or Government-owned system.
This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) under FAR Subpart 12.6, in accordance with the format prescribed for commercial products and commercial services. The Government contemplates award of a single Firm-Fixed-Price, deliverable-based commercial services contract with a fully funded 36-month period of performance.
