The renovation will repair the existing driving range bays and add an additional 12 hitting bays by adding a two-story hitting deck required by increased customer volume.
The contractor will fully replace the existing driving range, construct a two-story 24-bay covered hitting structure with a ball-tracking and interactive virtual golf system, extend the range length by approximately 30 yards, and build a new 440-square-foot range maintenance building and a 500-square-foot concession building with restrooms. Work also includes site development, grading, utility relocation, landscaping, a concrete cart path extension, installation of 150 linear feet of high-impact range netting, removal of dead trees and chain-link fencing, relocation of bunker and chipping areas, and installation of new electrical, plumbing, lighting, and fire protection systems, all under a design-build delivery method with the contractor's architect/engineer serving as Architect/Engineer of Record.
