Uniforms should fundamentally support all front-line employees in conducting their duties safely, comfortably, and perform well in various climate conditions. At a minimum the uniforms should look professional and appropriate which providing the durability required to perform WMATA's maintenance work.
The purpose of this solicitation is to initiate a competitive process for a 1-year contract with 4 option years.
The vendor must supply uniforms including male/female cargo pants, t-shirts, long sleeve t-shirts, long sleeve work shirts, sport fleece jackets, cover-alls, over-alls, and flame retardant (FR) rated pants, cover-alls, and button-up work shirts. All garments are to be deep navy, made from specified fabrics (polyester blend rip stop, cotton blend, poly-blend fleece), with reflective trim, reinforced knees, and specific pocket and zipper configurations. Sizes range from unisex alpha XXS to 5XL.
