The contractor shall provide all labor and materials to separate, load, haul, and dump storm-related debris (vegetative, construction and demolition, white goods, metals) from the right-of-way (within 10 feet of the pavement edge) to designated debris management sites. Work includes examining debris for eligibility, separating by classification, loading, hauling to an approved DMS, and dumping. The contractor must use DPW-certified trucks with placards, comply with MUTCD and safety requirements, and work under the direction of the DPW Program Manager. Debris removal must be monitored by assigned Debris Monitors, and load tickets must be verified. Payment is based on cubic yards collected and documented by load tickets, with weekly invoicing required.
