The County of Page (County) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified Offerors to provide design-build services for a new 2,500-square-foot welding shop at the Page County Technical Center. The shop will accommodate 20 students and one instructor and include 20 welding stations, equipment storage, a handwashing sink, and a changing area with lockers. The work will include, but is not limited to, relocating existing welding stations and equipment, installing soundproofing, constructing a concrete pad, installing a roll-up door, and creating a gravel access drive.
This solicitation is the first phase of a two-phase design-build procurement process. The County will evaluate Statements of Qualifications and shortlist qualified Offerors who will be invited to submit technical and cost proposals in response to a subsequent Request for Proposals (RFP).
