The Town of Vinton is accepting proposals from interested developers for the 101 E. Lee Ave. property (Tax Map Parcel # 060.16-02-16) at the corner of Pollard Street to develop a boutique hotel or mixed-use commercial and residential housing project. The .18-acre site was recently acquired by the Town following a tragic fire in 2022 resulting in the total loss of the former structures. The shovel ready site is strategically located in the heart of Vintonâs vibrant downtown with walkable access to all commercial storefronts in Vintonâs central business district.
The desired project should include either a higher density boutique hotel, or mixed-use development with first floor commercial and second and third floor residential uses consistent with the Comprehensive Plan. Desirable options and features may include an outdoor patio/green space, a rooftop experience, and other amenities to appeal to residents and visitors.
