The OAG is soliciting proposals from attorneys to advise and represent the OAG and the OAG's client agencies and institutions with respect to the issuance of public debt. Counsel may be called upon to advise the OAG's client agencies and institutions intending to issue one or more series of long-term debt, issuing short-term debt under its taxable and tax-exempt commercial paper program, or undertaking activities related to issuing debt for which it may seek guidance from bond counsel, such as the use of derivatives and bank credit lines. Counsel must also be able to provide guidance in disclosure and securities related to the issuance of public debt.
Appointed counsel will represent the interests of OAG's client agencies and institutions and will assist agencies and institutions in planning and structuring each financing.
