The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the County of Loudoun, Virginia (âCountyâ) to select a qualified Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Services Consultant (âConsultantâ) to provide comprehensive support for the construction of the Route 15/Spinks Ferry Road/Newvalley Church Road Roundabout.
The selected Consultant will work under the direction of the Countyâs Construction Manager to provide full-time on-site inspection, construction administration, materials sampling and testing, and related engineering support necessary to ensure that all construction activities comply with the approved plans, specifications, Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) standards, and Construction Contract requirements. The CEI Consultant will play a key role in monitoring the Construction Contractorâs performance, maintaining project documentation, and supporting timely and successful project delivery.
