Housing Authority of Salt Lake City (HASLC) is soliciting bids from qualified, experienced, licensed, and insured roofing contractors to provide roof replacement services at its Phillips Plaza public housing property located at 660 South 300 East in Salt Lake City. The project includes a Base Bid for complete tear-off and replacement of the existing roof system to the structural deck, including new insulation, drainage improvements, flashings, roof drains, and a fully warranted minimum 60-mil white TPO roofing system.
HASLC also requests a separately priced Owner Option credit for installation of a roof recovery system in lieu of the full tear-off, if a post-award roof investigation and manufacturer confirmation establish that recovery is suitable. Bidders must also provide an additive alternate price to upgrade the selected roofing system from 60-mil to 80-mil TPO, together with unit pricing for certain additional or concealed-condition work. The roof area is estimated at approximately 8,827 square feet, including the main roof and two penthouse roofs, although bidders are responsible for verifying actual dimensions and existing conditions.
