Housing Authority of Salt Lake City (HASLC) is soliciting bids from qualified, experienced, licensed, and insured roofing contractors to provide complete roof replacement services at its Romney Plaza public housing property located at 475 East 900 South in Salt Lake City. The project generally includes complete tear-off of the existing roofing system to the metal deck; substrate review and authorized repairs; installation of insulation and a fully warranted 60-mil white TPO roofing system; flashings, roof drains, walking pads, temporary protection, testing, warranties, and related work necessary to provide a complete and watertight roofing system. The roof is estimated at approximately 100 roofing squares, although bidders are responsible for verifying actual dimensions and existing conditions.
HASLC also requests unit pricing for certain concealed-condition work, including replacement of damaged metal roof deck, wood nailers or blocking, parapet sheathing, and additional penetrations.
