The work involves widening an existing roadway facility on US-40 from milepost 18.05 to 19.76. Major bid items include mobilization, traffic control, and 15,358 tons of HMHMA - 1/2 inch asphalt. The project also includes roadway excavation, drainage pipe installation, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk and trail construction, signing, pavement markings, traffic signal systems, and a VMS sign. A non-participating portion for Heber City Betterment includes similar items. The project is a Price + Time (P+T) contract with four time segments and associated incentive/disincentive provisions.
