The facilities will be leased for an initial term of thirty-six (36) months, with two additional one-year renewal options and an option for TMD to purchase either or both facilities, as further established in the Invitation for Bids.
Vendors MUST attend one (1) of the three (3) MANDATORY site visits at 2200 West 35th Street, Bldg. 27, Austin, TX 78703 at 10:00 AM CST or 2:00 PM CST, Tuesday, October 6, 2026, or at 10:00 AM CST, Wednesday, October 7. 2026. Failure to attend one (1) of the three (3) site visits will result in disqualification of the response. There will be no technical questions answered at this conference. The Mandatory Space-Fit/Configuration Layout shall be submitted to TMD no later than 4:00 PM CST on October 13, 2026, in accordance with the Schedule of Events in the IFB. A prospective Respondent that does not timely submit the required layout will not be eligible to submit a Bid.
Competitive sealed bids for TMD27-CFMO-0046097 Camp Mabry Portables will be received by TMD until 11:30 AM CST, October 28, 2026, at Camp Mabry, Building 37, Austin, Texas 78703.
The Contractor shall provide turnkey, code-compliant, occupancy-ready facilities at both the North Site (12,000 SF, 110 personnel) and South Site (approx. 7,200 SF, 55 personnel). Work includes modular unit supply and installation onto existing foundations, interior fit-out, mechanical/electrical/plumbing and life safety systems, IT/AV/low-voltage infrastructure, and term maintenance. The Contractor must deliver, install, and obtain TMD acceptance of both facilities no later than March 30, 2027. The scope also includes demobilization and site restoration if TMD does not exercise the purchase option.
