The Texas A&M University System Office of Facilities Planning &Construction, on behalf of the Board of Regents of The Texas A&MUniversity System and Texas A&M University, is solicitingstatements of qualifications for selection of an Architect/Engineer firm forthe Evans Library 6th Floor Renovation at Texas A&M University project (#02-3479)located in College Station, Texas in accordance with the terms, conditions, andrequirements set forth in this Request for Qualifications (RFQ).
The renovation will transform an outdated space into a modern, quiet study environment that supports a range of learning styles. The project includes a grand reading room, individual study rooms with natural light, and open seating with varied furniture. Upgraded infrastructure will address the need for power access and lighting, while a temporary graduate lounge will meet immediate demand for dedicated graduate study space. Renovation of this floor will include the removal of the staff processing space and all study carrels, with collections that had been on this floor already located to lower levels.
