Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be accepted by the Jefferson County Purchasing Department for Invitation for Bid (IFB 26-043/CG), Term Contract for Larvicidal Oil for Jefferson County Mosquito Control. Specifications for this project may be obtained from the Jefferson County website, https://jeffersoncountytx.gov/Purchasing/ or by calling 409-835-8593.
Bids are to be sealed and addressed to the Purchasing Agent with the bid number and name marked on the outside of the envelope or box. Bidders shall forward an original and one (1) copy of their bid to the address shown below. Jefferson County does not accept bids submitted electronically. Late bids will be rejected as non-responsive. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Jefferson County Purchasing Department (1st Floor, Historic Courthouse) 1149 Pearl Street, Beaumont, Texas 77701, at the time and date below. Bidders are invited to attend the sealed bid opening.

The contractor will supply larvicidal oil for Jefferson County Mosquito Control on an as-needed basis. Deliveries are to be made F.O.B. Jefferson County Mosquito Control, 8905 1st Street, Beaumont, TX 77705. The initial contract term is one year from date of award with an option to renew for four additional years. Prices shall remain firm/fixed for the first year; price revisions after the first year may be requested in writing with documentation of actual manufacturing cost changes. The county reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities based on weather conditions and availability of funds. Bidders must attach a current safety data sheet and current labels for each chemical.
