Permit Mail Services for HHSC
The contractor must pick up USPS permit mail daily between 1:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. from the HHSC/TXDDS Mailroom at 6101 E. Oltorf St, Austin, TX, sign a receipt documenting pickup, and transport the mail securely to its facility. The contractor must process and mail up to 15,000 envelopes daily of various sizes (letter, booklet, flat), ensuring exact weight uniformity, sorting, and appropriate postage statements, then deliver to the USPS BMEU for same-day processing (not held over). The contractor must provide a written plan for secure handling/storage of mail containing PII in case of processing disruption, and must have an alternate backup facility plan. The contractor must be a Certified USPS Permit/Presort Bureau with CASS/MASS certification and have at least three years of relevant experience in the Austin area.
