The Brazos River Authority (BRA) is soliciting bids from qualified waste collection and disposalContractors to enter into a solid waste disposal agreement. The Contractor shall provide, in a workmanlike manner, the services called for and describedherein which shall consist of all supervision, equipment, labor, and all other items necessaryto provide Possum Kingdom Lake with a complete refuse collection, removal and disposaland to complete the work described in this bid. Specifications section below details expectedservices and requirements.
The Contractor shall provide all supervision, equipment, labor, and items necessary to provide Possum Kingdom Lake with complete refuse collection, removal, and disposal. The Contractor must self-perform 100% of the services. The service area consists of Possum Kingdom Lake area supporting BRA operational business locations. There are approximately 39 solid waste containers. Refuse collection shall be conducted a minimum of once weekly for front load dumpsters and within three days of being notified to haul 40-yard roll offs and 40-yard compactor containers. Collection hours are 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with collection on Mondays and additional days before and after holiday weekends. The Contractor must furnish all trucks, equipment, and labor, and vehicles must meet TXDOT and TCEQ criteria. Waste must be delivered to a permitted sanitary landfill or transfer facility compliant with TCEQ rules.
