Snow and Ice Removal Services
The selected vendor will be responsible for snow plowing and salting services of parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, play pads, school door fronts/rears, loading docks, and areas of the schools and buildings at four locations: Memphis Junior/Senior High School (34130 Bordman Road), Memphis Elementary School (34165 Bordman Road), Memphis Bus Garage (34841 Bordman Road), and Memphis Central Office (34110 Bordman Road). New concrete areas require sand instead of salt. The contractor must keep sight lines clear of snow piles, especially at roadway entrances and exits. Services must be completed at the Bus garage before 5:45 A.M. and by 7:00 A.M. for all other buildings after a snow event. The contractor may also mark parking lots and drives with reflective markers to prevent damage.

Most Michigan work asks for the two below, and the solicitation documents are where it’s stated. One prequalification covers both — on this bid and the next.
A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what an agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
