The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to pump floodwater from basements and tunnels, abate, transport, and dispose of all asbestos containing materials (including assumed materials in flooded and inaccessible areas), universal waste, and other regulated materials (including potential PCB Transformers and USTs at Murphy and Pulaski), demolish and dispose of structures and all site improvements, and restore the site with backfill, topsoil, grass seed, and mulch. The work includes obtaining all permits, clearances, and inspections, submitting all notifications, plans, and applications, and paying all fees. Specific bid items include mobilization/demobilization, hazardous material removal, structure demolition, site restoration, UST assessment and removal (allowance at Murphy and Pulaski), 24/7 site security (alternate), and tunnel termination at Post Middle School (allowance).
