The CM will represent SEPTA and provide Construction Management Services including construction management, 3rd party agency coordination, pre-construction services management, management of independent cost estimating, schedule management, safety management, quality management, testing and commissioning management, document control management, and close out activities. The project involves installation of 257 (+/-5%) catenary structure foundations (203 caisson type catenary foundations and 54 caisson type down guy foundations) within the project area from 30th Street Station to the interface at Kay Interlocking, a distance of approximately 1.6 miles. The CM will provide staff to perform construction management and special inspection services, manage the contractor(s) during all field construction operations, inspect all drilled shaft construction, enforce protocols regarding potential archaeological discoveries, ensure compliance of all personnel to SEPTA's safety standards, and support SEPTA staff on construction related services.
