The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources is requesting bids for a trailer centrifugal pump powered by a 6BT Cummins engine, to be delivered to Bonneau Ferry WMA Cordesville, SC.
The contractor must provide a trailer centrifugal pump powered by a 6BT Cummins engine. The pump shall be weld fabricated and attached to a two-wheel trailer, operate in a submerged position with no priming or suction hose, and produce no less than 41.5 gallons of water per minute per engine horsepower. The pump shall be a centrifugal radial flow type with all mild steel fabrication, a 16" closed impeller with double suction, and a casing with a double volute. The trailer shall have a minimum length of 23.5 feet. The diesel engine shall develop 130 horsepower continuously at 1800 RPM. Equipment includes an electric starter, alternator, regulator, air cleaner, tachometer, safety switches, oil sight gauge, side load hand-operated clutch, batteries, battery cables, rain cap, and a steel fuel tank with a minimum 18 hour run time. Speed from engine to pump shall be by V-belt drive with a belt guard. A 1 year unlimited hours parts and labor warranty is required. Delivery must be to Bonneau Ferry WMA Cordesville, SC 29434 no later than December 15, 2026.
