Existing lane widths will be reduced from 12 feet to 11 feet and will include a centerline buffer that includes a mumble strip. Other roadway safety improvements include, but are not limited to, new signing, new striping, and delineators. Work also includes the installation of a new traffic signal at the intersection of Pine Swamp Road (Rte.
114)/Wrentham Road (Rte. 121)/Diamond Hill Road (Rte. 114) and the removal of existing slip lanes.
The work will also include full width micro milling and overlay on a portion of Diamond Hill Road, pavement reduction at the new signalized intersection, a new STU, and all incidentals, complete in place and accepted.
