The work includes constructing proposed sidewalk, curbing, and curb ramps; installing traffic signal equipment, mast arms, signal heads, pedestrian push buttons, and accessible pedestrian signals (APS); installing video-radar detection systems, emergency pre-emption detectors, and CCTV cameras; installing fiber optic interconnect cable, conduit, and junction boxes; constructing a channelizing island extension; installing street lighting; applying pavement markings and legends; and performing all associated erosion and sediment control, traffic control, and restoration work. The project is located at the intersections of Crescentville Road (SR 1002) with Adams Avenue/Adams Run Boulevard and with Cheltenham Avenue, and includes a midblock pedestrian crossing.
