The work includes underground glycol piping replacement; removal and replacement of air handling units (AHUs); new electric boilers in Compressor Building, Access Building 2, and Electrical Building; temporary cooling and power during construction; removal and replacement of electrical wiring for new mechanical equipment; removal and replacement of MCCs in Scum Disposal Building and Electrical Building; removal and safe disposal of lead paint; recovery of glycol from existing system and provision of new 30% propylene glycol solution; test pits to verify piping location; and miscellaneous work associated with unforeseen conditions. The project is phased over approximately four years.
