It is the intent of the City of Philadelphia to make an award for Overhead Door & Gate Maintenance in accordance with Section 2 of this Invitation and Bid. All quotes must be submitted through PHLContracts no later than 10:30 AM on the date that the related bid opens. Quotes will not be accepted after the bid opening. It is the Seller's responsibility to ensure that the quote is submitted in a timely manner.
The awarded seller shall provide maintenance, inspection, repair, emergency service, and replacement for overhead doors, rolling steel doors, sliding gates, and related equipment at multiple City of Philadelphia locations. Work includes annual maintenance/inspection (quarterly for Prisons), 24/7 emergency service with a two-hour on-site response, and replacement of doors and gates. The seller is responsible for all mechanical and electrical components up to the first fuse panel, excluding painting and glazing. Labor rates are bid per hour for different time categories, and parts are provided at a discount from manufacturer's price list.
