The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Johnstown is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for a project to install domestic water utilities, storm drainage, and electric utilities for a future pocket park. The project location is 224 Main Street, Johnstown, PA 15901.
There will be a non-mandatory, but suggested, walk through of the project site on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 beginning at 9:00am. Please email Alyssa Rouser at arouser@cjlengineering.com, to register for the walk through and/or to receive the information sheet.
No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a Bid Bond of an approved surety, a cashier’s check, a certified check, or bank letter of credit payable to the Authority in the amount of not less that ten (10%) percent of the total bid.
A Certificate of Insurance is also required. Bidders should be aware that any proposed insurance is not acceptable to the Authority without identifying the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Johnstown as an “additional insured” on the Bidders Certificate of Insurance. Bidder/Contractor shall provide general liability insurance naming the Authority as additional insured, in the amount of $2,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate.
Contract Documents may be examined and reviewed on the PennBid (www.pennbid.net) website. All bids are due no later than 1:00pm on Monday, October 12, 2026, at which time they will be opened online and publicly posted via the PennBid website.
