PRE-QUAL FOR LUMBER & FIREWOOD

The contract is for the purchase of lumber, such as, but not limited to, plywood, dimensional lumber, pressure treated lumber, studs, softwood, hardwood, firewood, panels, shiplap, shims, stakes, lattice and deck boards. All lumber shall be visibly marked showing the type of treatment and be certified by the manufacturer. The County will notify all applicable pre-qualified vendors of each project on an as needed basis, and each project shall be awarded to the vendor offering the lowest fixed price, subject to S/M/WBE and Local Preference provisions. Vendors are responsible for unloading lumber orders which do not require a forklift at the delivery location.
