The work includes installation of concrete sidewalks (4" and 7" thick, pigmented and unpigmented), granite and concrete curbs, steel-faced concrete curbs, detectable warning units, pavement markings, tree removal and planting, catch basin work, and handling and disposal of contaminated and hazardous soil. The project also includes allowances for expedited sidewalk repair, small sidewalk areas, railroad facilities, and city work acceleration. The contractor must maintain traffic, provide temporary pedestrian ramps and channelizers, and comply with all specifications and standards.
