The work includes replacement of five elevators and various ancillary devices; remedial/reconstructive work in the elevator shaft; provision of electric power for new elevator equipment, HVAC equipment, and fire alarm system; provision of two-way audio and visual system as required by NYCBC 2022; provision of split AC units for the existing elevator machine room; restoration of floor areas served by the new elevators (paint, concrete infills, etc.); remedial general construction at the roof level; and providing accessibility in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
