The Consultant shall help facilities identify areas for improvement in care and services in accordance with current licensing standards, provide comprehensive consultation and feedback on facility systems, policies, and procedures in areas such as Resident Rights, Abuse Reporting, Activities of Daily Living, Medication/Treatment Administration, Staffing Requirements, and Dementia Care. Consultants may also assist facilities seeking added licensure endorsements, and may be asked to be onsite to oversee facility closure or provide staff training. Consultants must comply with OARs governing Residential Care and Assisted Living Facilities and submit written reports to the Agency as required.
