Construction services are needed at Roberto Clemente State Park to repair the existing damaged and deteriorated pedestrian staircases on the southern end of the site. A general description of the work follows:
General: Site mobilization, protection of existing conditions and pedestrian walkways throughout construction, demobilization, and rubbish removal.
** **Removals: Route and remove loose material for estimated 100 LF of crack repair. Sawcut and remove loose material for estimated 50 LF of nosing repair. Remove and clean estimated 300 LF of existing sealant materials for sealant replacement. Remove and clean estimated 100 LF of existing expansion joint materials for expansion joint replacement.
Repairs: Furnish materials and repair estimated 100 LF of cracks per 04/G-003 using Edison Coatings Mortar Pump-X53 (or approved equal). Furnish materials and repair estimated 50 LF of nosings per 03/G-003 using Basecrete+PSPW (or approved equal) and Sika Armatec 110 Epocem (or approved equal). Furnish materials and replace estimated 300 LF of sealant per 01/G-003 using Sikaflex-1A (or approved equal) and Nomaco Inc. HBR (or approved equal). Furnish materials and replace estimated 100 LF of expansion joints per 02/G-003 using Sikaflex-1A (or approved equal) and Nomaco Inc. HBR (or approved equal).
The work under this RFQ has been determined to be a public work pursuant to Article8 (Construction) / 9 (Building Services in excess of $1,500) of the New York Labor Lawwhich requires prevailing wages to be paid. A willful violation of such may result incivil penalties and debarment from public contracting in the State of New York.
Bidder's must submit their DOL contractor registration certification to do businesswith NYS Parks.Bidders are required to attend a mandatory site visit at the park.
