The Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) is seeking quotes for herbicide treatments to be applied to Berberis thunbergii (Asiatic Barberry), located within Letchworth State Park. Bishop Woods, located in the south end of Letchworth State Park, between Trailside Rd and Archery Field, is an Appalachian Oak-Hickory Forest dominated by B. thunbergii. Bishop Woods has seven acres of barberry infestation with 40 - 70 % cover class. The infestation is spread throughout a 10-acre plot with varied infestations from patchy to almost monoculture status.
This contract does not allow subcontracting.
Must provide documentation of performance of at least three similar projects.
