The work of this single bid project includes providing partial interior renovations to Kunsela Hall to update and expand instructional, laboratory and support spaces for growing STEM programs. Renovations range from medium intensity rehabs to low intensity updates and fit-outs. MEP work is expected to be limited to localized upgrade of HVAC controls, new LED lighting, reconfigured power/receptacle layouts at the room level, bathroom upgrades, HVAC terminal devices & exhaust fans. Replacement or rehab of core MEP equipment including boilers, AHUs and chillers is not expected. A fire sprinkler system will be extended to the Kunsela C-Wing renovation areas (currently not sprinklered).
Plans will be available after July 20, 2026, through Camelot Print & Copy Centers (518-435-9696 & www.camelotplanroom.com/projects/public ).
A project walk-through has been scheduled for July 29, 2026, at 1:30PM, at SUNY Polytechnic - Kunsela Hall.

All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 3/22 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule.
