The Growing the Clean Energy Workforce - Electric Vehicles (GCEW-EV) Request for Applications (RFA) will provide funding to eligible organizations to expand or create training or pre-apprenticeship programs in EV (light, medium, & heavy-duty) repair and maintenance, EV charging station repair and maintenance, and/or EV fleet maintenance, and provide wraparound services to participants in these programs.

Projects must expand or create training or pre-apprenticeship programs in:

  • EV and fleet repair and maintenance; and/or

  • EV charging station repair and maintenance.

For this program, there is a minimum requirement that 35% of enrolled participants must be individuals residing in Disadvantaged Communities, as defined by the Climate Justice Working Group (CJWG), to be eligible for funding.
