The New York Power Authority is issuing a Request for Application (“RFA”) inviting qualified NYS based providers (such as technical high schools, community colleges, universities, NYS or federally recognized Indian Nations and Tribal organizations, trade associations, manufacturers and others) who can collaborate to develop technical training opportunities, hands-on experience, paid internships and full-time jobs for people entering the clean energy workforce.
Further details on qualifications/requirements can be found in the RFA. Proposers are hereby directed to use NYPA’s website (www.nypa.gov/procurement) to obtain complete bid documents.
Submissions must be sent via email to WorkforceDev@nypa.gov by the various deadline dates as listed in the RFA document for consideration.
Round 1: Opens August 17, 2026, Deadline September 15, 2026
Round 2: Opens November 2, 2026, Deadline November 30, 2026
Round 3: Opens January 1, 2027, Deadline January 29, 2027
