Business Services System Replacement

The Corporations Division within the New Hampshire Secretary of State’s office is responsible for maintaining a business registry and lien data for use by the public and courts. This RFP seeks a proposed solution which meets the requirements for a replacement for the current system described herein. The requirements below assume a financial merchants services system will exist that will process transactions externally and internally into this proposed system and will be available to share historical transaction data to this system.

The proposed solution will be integrated with this financial system. The financial system is not part of this RFP and will be distinct and separated from the business services system. Project Overview/Justification: The Corporations Division’s existing solution is antiquated and requires costly hi-touch vendor support.

Additionally, the existing solution lacks extendibility for use in conjunction with other state software, requires extensive training to utilize, and lacks modern features expected by the public when interacting with a modern public office. Goals and Objectives for a Business Services System Replacement: The new system should be easy for the internal staff and the public to utilize and be simplified to focus on core functions of the Corporations Division. The current system handles multiple functions for the Agency; financial and transaction tasks are being factored into distinct systems to optimize each for function, accuracy, and needs of the staff.
