1.1. The purpose of this bid invitation is to establish a contract for Snow Plowing and Removal Services to the State of New Hampshire with services indicated in the SCOPE OF SERVICES and OFFER sections of this bid invitation, in accordance with the requirements of this bid invitation and any resulting contract.
The Vendor shall supply all labor, tools, transportation, materials, equipment, and permits to remove all snow, slush buildup and ice from entrance roadways, parking lots, and other areas of facilities as listed. Plowing shall begin upon accumulation of 2 inches of snow. Salting and sanding shall occur at any time conditions warrant. The contractor must maintain locations to achieve bare and dry pavement as soon as practical after a storm. Work includes clearing concrete walkways and driveways with treated sand, maintaining access for emergency vehicles, removing snow from connecting roadways and parking spaces, and performing roof snow clearance upon request. All equipment must be fitted with rubber tires. The Vendor must keep all areas clear and accessible and is responsible for repairing any damage to the facility.
