As part of this mission, NHDOT manages the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) infrastructure through its Bureau of Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSMO), in coordination with the New Hampshire Department of Information Technology (NHDoIT). The Transportation Management Center (TMC) oversees more than 350 ITS devices statewide, including closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras, dynamic message signs (DMS), radar sensors, as well as associated communications equipment. These systems are critical for real-time traffic monitoring, incident management, and traveler information.
