Security Guard Services for Residence Halls

The vendor will provide routine security guard service for students residing on campus, including securing all buildings, gated entrances, and patrols in and around all residential housing. Duties include conducting regular security rounds inside assigned residence halls, investigating disturbances, maintaining a safe and secure environment, assisting University Police and Residence Hall Staff in emergencies, enforcing University and Housing policies, monitoring and enforcing visitation policies, maintaining professional relationships, completing on-duty log reports and incident reports, reporting facilities work orders, working flexible/rotating shifts, answering phone calls, and attending required training sessions. The vendor must staff all residence halls 24 hours a day, with specific guard requirements per shift for each hall: Bias Hall (1 guard shared with Viking Tower), New Residence Hall (2 guards), University Towers (2 guards), Viking Village (2 guards), and Viking Tower (1 guard shared with Bias Hall).
