The North Carolina Department of Transportation is requesting bids for the replacement of bridge 560090
over Laurel Creek and Bridge 560152 over Spillcorn Creek on SR-1318 (Big Laurel Rd) in Madison
County to be let at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.
The availability date for this project is November 16, 2026.
The completion date for this project is November 24, 2028.
Bids for this project must be submitted electronically. Refer to the Instructions to Bidders in the
proposal for more information.
Firms that wish to perform work on Division Purchase Order Contracts as either the prime contractor or
as a subcontractor on the project must be prequalified for the type work they wish to perform. Firms that
wish to bid on these projects as the prime contractor must be prequalified prior to submitting your bid.
