The Work of this Contract includes the installation of an Electronic Security System at two key locations: Jay Street Station, which includes coverage for the Fulton Street line and Broad Street line, as well as 207 Street Station. As part of the scope, the work begins with the removal of existing devices currently in place at these stations. Following this, new conduits and wiring are to be installed throughout the station at both locations. The project also includes the installation of new devices, such as CCTV cameras, to enhance surveillance capabilities at each station. Once the devices are in place, comprehensive testing and commissioning activities will be conducted to ensure that all systems are functioning properly and meet required standards. In addition to the electronic security work, the scope encompasses architectural tasks. These include repairs and patchwork to existing structures as needed, and the installation of new doors at specified locations within the stations. Most public work asks for the two below, and the solicitation documents are where it’s stated. One prequalification covers both — on this bid and the next.
A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what a GC or agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
