The contract covers furnishing various grades of sand and gravel, including concrete sand, coarse aggregate, granular material, road gravel, pea gravel, torpedo gravel, and cover aggregate, delivered FOB to MDOT locations throughout Mississippi. Materials must conform to the 2017 Mississippi Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction and are subject to testing by the MDOT Materials Division. Delivery is required the day after notification by the District Maintenance Engineer, and pricing includes both material cost and transportation/haul charges from pit to job site.
