1.99 mi of hot mix asphalt crushing, shaping and resurfacing, aggregate shoulders, culvert repair, guardrail and pavement markings on Rolland Road from Millbrook Road to Broomfield Road, Isabella County. This is a Local Agency project.
In addition to the above minimum prequalification requirement for prime contractors this project includes subclassifications of Cb, Ea and I. If the prime contractor is not prequalified in those subclassifications it must use prequalified subcontractors. Those subcontractors must be designated prior to award of the contract to the confirmed low bidder.

Most Michigan work asks for the two below, and the solicitation documents are where it’s stated. Apply straight through for it — or prequalify once and skip the application on both.
A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what a GC or agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
