RFB - Request For Bid
The contractor shall remove and dispose approximately 5,500 +/- Sq. Ft. of existing asphalt shingle roof, underlayment, all penetration flashings, hip & valley flashings, and wall flashings. Replace with new asphalt shingle roof system. Tasks include removing all existing roof mastic from vents and pipe penetrations, patching pipe penetrations and providing new flashings, surface preparations including a 15% roof understructure replacement factor, installing asphalt shingle roofing systems per specifications, and daily clean-up. The contractor shall provide all parts, equipment, and labor necessary. A minimum of a 5-year roofing materials warranty and 5-year labor warranty is required.
