The contractor shall provide all parts, equipment, materials and labor necessary to remove and replace approximately 1,500 +/- Sq. Ft. of existing asphalt shingle roof, underlayment, all penetration flashings, hip & valley flashings, and wall flashings. Work includes removing and replacing approximately 175 +/- LF of edge/perimeter drip metal, exposing roof sheeting and confirming structural integrity, installing new shingle roofing material (GAF Timberline 'CS' or equal), installing GAF 'Storm Guard' leak barrier system or equal, installing new underlayment per manufacturer instructions (GAF 'Deck-Armor' or equal), installing all new flashings, counter flashings, caps, and drip metal, painting all new flashings, caps and vents to match new roof color, and replacing all sleepers with composite material construction. The contractor is responsible for pulling and paying for all applicable permits, providing daily updates to the LACoFD Project Manager, and ensuring safety with barricades. Daily clean-up and debris removal is required. The estimated timeframe to complete the project is ten (10) working days or less.
