The RFSQ seeks qualified vendors to provide energy services, including solar photovoltaic systems, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and related energy solutions. Vendors must demonstrate that their proposed energy costs are lower than current utility rates, using the previous calendar year as the billing timeframe. The County retains all Renewable Energy Credits (RECs). Vendors may not include electric-vehicle charging equipment or alternative technologies like wind turbines under this RFSQ.
