RFP-908 Arch CHFS WSNF/WSH Renovations/Replace C. Tower

The selected Architect shall serve as the Prime Consultant and Lead A/E for both projects, providing all required architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural, plumbing, fire protection, controls, civil, commissioning, estimating, and specialty consulting services. For Project No. 729-CCHQ-WN08-00 (WSNF Renovations II, budget $6,621,400), the consultant shall evaluate existing HVAC systems and develop complete construction documents for converting the existing two-pipe HVAC distribution system to a four-pipe system, including evaluation of existing mechanical equipment, piping, pumps, controls, BAS integration, electrical systems, architectural impacts, fire protection, code compliance, phased construction sequencing, cost estimating, and complete bidding and construction documents. For Project No. 729-CCHP-WN07-00 (WSH Replace Cooling Towers, budget $1,920,000), the consultant shall evaluate existing cooling towers, chilled water system, chillers, piping, controls, structural supports, electrical systems, and associated infrastructure, and provide recommendations including repair, replacement, or upgrade options, culminating in complete construction documents for a reliable, maintainable, and code-compliant cooling system. The projects shall be designed concurrently to maximize coordination, minimize operational impacts, and identify opportunities for shared design solutions and efficiencies.
