The contractor shall properly plug, site remediate, and reclaim orphan wells in compliance with KRS Chapter 353.562-564 and 805 KAR 1:060, under the direction of Division inspectors. The work includes removing aboveground flowlines and production infrastructure, plugging underground flowlines, reclaiming disturbed areas to achieve permanent vegetative cover and effective drainage, and performing all work in accordance with the attached plugging plan and scope of work. Additional tasks include TENORM scanning of equipment, testing and disposal of tank bottom sludges, removal of contaminated soil, and weekly reporting to the Division.
